Quality Control

Our Quality Management System, based on ISO 9001:2015 principles, structures how we manage each project — from quotation and design through production, inspection, delivery and customer follow-up.

Quality is built into every stage of our work. Our Quality Management System, based on ISO 9001:2015 principles, provides a structured approach to managing each project — from the initial quotation and design through production, inspection, delivery and customer follow-up.

We are certified to ISO 9001:2015, certificate AU1800. The system described below isn’t self-assessed — it is externally audited every year to keep that certification current.

[ 01 ]

Customer Requirements

We review customer requirements before work begins to ensure the specifications, materials, deadlines and delivery arrangements are clearly understood. Each accepted quotation is assigned a job number, providing traceability throughout production.

[ 02 ]

Design and Approval

Design requirements are documented and reviewed before production. Artwork and proofs are provided to the customer for approval where required. Any subsequent changes are reviewed, authorised and recorded to ensure the finished product continues to meet the agreed requirements.

[ 03 ]

Controlled Production

Production is undertaken using approved job information, suitable equipment and trained personnel. Jobs are monitored throughout the production process, with completed work checked against the approved specifications before release or delivery.

[ 04 ]

Materials and External Providers

Suppliers and external service providers are selected and monitored based on their ability to meet our quality requirements. Purchased materials and outsourced services are checked where appropriate before they are incorporated into customer products.

[ 05 ]

Equipment and Resources

We provide the people, equipment, technology, facilities and knowledge needed to produce consistent results. Monitoring and measuring equipment is maintained and calibrated where required, and employee training and competency records are regularly reviewed.

[ 06 ]

Managing Risk

Potential risks are considered during planning, design, production and delivery. Where a risk is identified, we determine whether it should be avoided, reduced, transferred or formally accepted. Significant risks and associated actions are recorded and reviewed.

[ 07 ]

Nonconforming Work

If a product or service does not meet requirements, it is identified and controlled to prevent unintended use or delivery. We correct the immediate issue, assess its effect, determine the cause and implement corrective action where necessary. Customers are informed when the issue may affect their order.

[ 08 ]

Monitoring and Improvement

We monitor customer satisfaction, product conformity, delivery performance, corrective actions, audit findings, quality objectives and supplier performance. The results are reviewed through internal audits and management reviews to identify opportunities for continual improvement.

[ 09 ]

Document and Data Control

Quality documents and records are controlled so that current information is available to the people who need it. Electronic information is protected through access controls, regular backups, off-site backup arrangements and planned restoration testing.

This systematic approach helps Insane Signs & Print deliver reliable products and services, meet agreed customer requirements and continually improve the way we work.
