Welcome to our newsletter. We hope you find it helpful and interesting. When Bob established Insane Signs in 2001 his goal was to create a sign shop that would set the benchmark by which other sign shops would be judged. This is still our objective and we are determined to achieve this by exceeding your expectations of us in the following areas. Quality The best materials available to the industry. The highest standards of workmanship. Investing in quality technology. Reliability Answering correspondence promptly. Turning up when we say we will turn up. Completing work promptly and within the stated time frame. Service We would like to think we can make your dealing with us pleasant and enjoyable by being friendly and courteous to you. We would like you to think you are important to us because you are.
What's In The Price
Like most other service industries the sign industry is price sensitive. This is a good thing because it insures you, the customer, get a product for a competitive price but, unfortunately, not always value for money. Let me give you an example. Two signs are required. Both are exactly the same except sign A is constructed of quality signboard correctly prepared and undercoated. The background colour is painted with two coats of quality sign enamel and the graphics and lettering are made of quality seven year cast vinyl. Sign B on the other hand is constructed of Masonite (looks the same as signboard) given a quick coat of undercoat topped with one coat of house paint. The graphics and lettering are made of cheap calendered vinyl. Now on completion both these signs will look almost identical and the layperson would have difficulty telling them apart. Two or three months later the story is very different. Sign A is as good as the day it was made whereas sign B is already losing its gloss. The vinyl is shrinking and starting to lift on the edges. It is starting to look rather second hand. I hope this example illustrates the difference between cheap and value for money. |
The Gerber Edge

We are excited by this technology which will produce permanent digital images in small or large quantities at very low cost compared to other systems. Who has invested in this technology? How did you guess? If you would like to see examples of the images we can make with this machine or discuss prices of sticker's labels or signs drop in or give us a call any time.
